Christina Wehr

Since 2005 Christina Wehr has been a certified attorney in the field of information technologies (IT) law. After completing her legal education she served as an in-house counsel at a large European telecommunication company. Later, she worked in Berlin and in Frankfurt am Main at the telecommunication, media and technology section of a large commercial law firm. Between 2008 and 2011, Christina Wehr has been partner at an IP boutique law firm in Berlin. She joined JBB Rechtsanwälte on March 2011.

Christina Wehr has been handling questions of Internet and IT law since the inception of her professional career. She consults large and medium-size commercial clients that belong to diverse branches of commerce, agencies and Internet start-ups. Her core area of expertise is in particular the legal requirements regarding online shops, as well as Internet platforms, communities and related aspects of E-Commerce and long-distance transactions. It includes the formulation of standard terms of service (AGB) and usage condition, as well as website-checks and consulting concerning liability for content of third party.

Already during her law studies in Bonn, Christina Wehr started specializing in international communication and media law. She earned practical insights during her practical training at the Deutsche Telecom and her engagement for a range of IT companies alongside her studies. As part of her legal clerkship, she worked among others in Koblenz and Berlin for law firms that specialize in IT and media law.
