Julian Höppner LL.M
Julian Höppner joined JBB Rechtsanwälte in 2004. He mainly handles matters involving IT law for both German and foreign companies, in particular drawing up contracts and drafting terms of business. He gives legal advice to both commercial and non-profit making Internet providers, for whom he also conducts litigation where required, focussing especially on those aspects of copyright, trademark and data protection law that for Internet providers all too often turn into full-blown legal issues, as does the question of liability for internal and external content. In addition to this, Julian Höppner also deals with legal matters arising in the rapidly growing field of e-commerce (B2C in online/mobile business, etc.).

Professional Training
Julian Höppner studied jurisprudence in Würzburg and Berlin. He was awarded an Erasmus Scholarship to study for a year at the University of Barcelona, and he also spent several months working for law firms in Barcelona and Cuernavaca (Mexico). Before starting to work as a trainee lawyer at the Film Subsidy Board in Berlin and at JBB Rechtsanwälte, Julian Höppner enrolled for a postgraduate course at the University of Edinburgh, where he was awarded his LL.M.
