Dr. Zeynep Balazünbül

Zeynep Balazünbül was admitted to the Berlin bar in 2019 and has been working for JBB ever since. Before joining JBB, she worked for three and a half years in an e-commerce company while doing her doctorate. There she helped to establish the legal department and managed the company's worldwide brand portfolio. She was also responsible for product compliance (electronics and household goods). She was the first contact person for all legal questions of the Europe-wide customer support.

Advisory Services

At JBB, Ms. Balazünbül advises clients in the field of intellectual property rights, in particular trademark law, competition law, copyright law and consumer law. In addition, Ms. Balazünbül advises companies from the creative and IT industries, primarily on corporate law issues and in the drafting of IT contracts.

Education

Zeynep Balazünbül studied and passed her state exams in Berlin. Her dissertation in international humanitarian law at the chair of Prof. aD Dr. Dr. hc Dr. hc Philip Kunig on unmanned systems (drones) was funded by the Heinrich Böll Foundation and is currently under examination. During her studies, Ms. Balazünbül completed several months of practical training in London.
