Hannah Stegmaier

Hannah Stegmaier was admitted to the Berlin Bar in 2019. She has been working for the law firm JBB since 2020. Her clients include large media companies, which Hannah Stegmaier advises on copyright issues both in and out of court. Prior to joining JBB, Hannah Stegmaier worked for a boutique law firm specializing in copyright law, serving mainly freelance artists, in particular photographers.

Professional Training

Hannah Stegmaier studied law at the Humboldt University in Berlin until 2015. She focused her studies on criminal law. During her legal traineeship, Hannah Stegmaier worked for the Interior Committee of the German Bundestag, among others.  She also served as a representative of the Hanns-Seidel-Foundation in Accra (Ghana), where she developed an anti-corruption program with the Ghana Police Service. Hannah Stegmaier attended the specialist course for media and copyright law at the German Lawyers' Academy in Hamburg.
