Philine Töpper joined JBB as a lawyer in 2020. In her legal work she focuses on IT law and copyright law.

Philine Töpper provides comprehensive advice on IT law to companies of various sizes and in various industries. This includes, among other things, the drafting of contracts relating to the distribution, licensing and maintenance of software, data protection advice on the legally compliant design of websites, apps and online stores, as well as representation in court. Philine Töpper also offers trainings and workshops on IT law and copyright issues. One focus of her IT law advice is on open source law. In addition, Philine Töpper supports both public clients and private service providers in public IT procurement procedures.

Philine Töpper provides corporate law advice on the formation and restructuring of companies. She drafts articles of association, advises on the choice of legal form and accompanies corporate transactions.


Professional Training

Philine Töpper studied law (with a focus on copyright and media law) and philosophy in Leipzig, Oslo and Witten. She completed her legal clerkship in Berlin, including positions at the German Foreign Office, Wikimedia Deutschland e.V. and JBB.
