Sebastian Wasner

Sebastian Wasner joined JBB as a lawyer in 2022. He advises companies of all sizes and industries in any legal matter related to advertising. In particular, his field of expertise comprises competition law and related legal areas, such as data protection and e-commerce law. Sebastian Wasner supports clients during all stages of advertising, ranging from the conceptualization and implementation of marketing campaigns to contractual arrangements. In case of anti-competitive practices, he represents his clients’ interests in and out of court. Further, he defends clients against legal actions by competitors or associations.

Professional Training

Sebastian Wasner studied law at the University of Regensburg and at Humboldt University in Berlin. He focused his studies on competition law and intellectual property law. After passing the first state examination, he worked as a research assistant at an international consultancy firm in the field of IP and IT law. During his legal clerkship in Berlin he worked, among other things, as a trainee lawyer for the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information as well as in the legal department of the national broadcaster, Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg.
